This book is about a mans journey from a being a fly-fishing virgin, to a man who has discovered the joys of trout, and also found along the way that the more you learn the more you realise how little you know.  Like so many of us the author began by throwing hardware at trout, then one day was comprehensively outfished by a friend using fly gear.
So began his downfall. Graeme Boyrke goes on to describe how he begins to fish, practicing his casting and finally manages to connect with his first (and only) fish of the season on fly.
